I’m fortunate the CHP man noticed me from the freeway. This was a few weeks in the past now. I misplaced just about all the pieces, and wasn’t even carrying footwear after they caught me into the ambulance.”

Steven was residing on the bookstore. Why?

“I needed to transfer out of the cabin. They needed to promote it, and I couldn’t actually pay the hire post-Pandemic. So I’d actually downsized, however a whole lot of private stuff was stashed in there [at the bookstore], ready for the following stage.”

“Unhurt, uninsured, however alive.

“The shop stock was principally gone already, as I used to be getting to shut up the store, however a whole lot of good books nonetheless burned. Fortunately, a lot of the Bigfoot stuff had discovered new houses.”

And at last…

“The shop cat is doing OK, too.”
