Our purpose was to provide these wildlife rangers with the tools most urgently wanted to allow them to carry out their important duties successfully, usually in tough and inhospitable circumstances.
We requested and our superb supporters answered, to the extent that we have been in a position to provide seven completely different wildlife reserves, six in South Africa and one within the Democratic Republic of Congo, with their full wish-list of desperately wanted tools… after which some!
A complete of $41,600 was raised via our 2023 World Ranger Day marketing campaign – greater than double the quantity raised in 2022 – all due to your unimaginable and beneficiant help. Of this quantity, 100% was used for the acquisition of all of the tools, boots and uniforms requested, in addition to upgrades to a number of ranger camps and amenities.
