We’re saddened to notice the passing of Skip Lazell, who made seminal contributions to the understanding of anole variety, biogeography and plenty of different subjects. We are going to particularly miss his common commentary, at all times in a really supportive method, on many Anole Annal posts.
In keeping with Numi Mitchell on the Conservation Company, “Skip died on Friday, 30 June 2023. He had Parkinson’s and died quietly of pneumonia after many joyful years of retirement and tender care from Wenhua Lu, his spouse. There’ll doubtless be a memorial service in some unspecified time in the future, however nothing is deliberate in the meanwhile.”
