Julie Mathews heard a cuckoo yesterday at about 1.30 pm in woodland in Ossemsley, close to New Milton within the New Forest, Hampshire.
She stated, “The fantastic cuckoo was calling for about 10 to fifteen minutes. It was within the branches flying to a number of timber ( not completely seen ) till I solely heard it because it went deeper into canopies.
“I’ve left my woodland untouched and completely pure with very outdated timber of Oak, Chestnut and Birch (indigenous New Forest) with some small Ash with quite a few birds additionally Buzzards, Kites, and seen a Goshawk.
