a birder’s perspective – 10,000 Birds

I’ve all the time discovered the query about which of the 2 superpowers to decide on – to have the ability to fly, or to be invisible – an intriguing one. For me, it has come all the way down to a selection between extroversion – flying – and introversion – invisibility.

The right way to reply this query from a birder’s perspective? My hunch is that almost all birders are extra on the introversion aspect of the entire spectrum, although I’m positive there are lots of exceptions to this (good day Peter!). However after all, this implies to have a look at the query from a basic, not a birder-specific perspective.

One might think about that as a birder’s fascination with flight is prone to be extra intense than that of a non-birder, flying can be the selection of most birders. And that could be true.

Nevertheless, no less than for me, the true pleasure is in watching birds – ideally with out interfering or being observed by them in any respect. So, for me the selection can be clear – I’d go for invisibility. Significantly if there may be an choice to make my digicam invisible, too.

What would you select?
